Particular attention has been paid to insulation which gives the house a warm, cosy feel no matter what the weather does.
Enter through the larch clad porch then walk into the ground floor which has a bright open plan feel floored in oak.
The sitting room has a large picture window giving fantastic views of the Cuillin Range and the boats going to and from Loch Coruisk, you may see the odd eagle or basking shark. This room has a Morso wood burning stove, sofas, etc. There is a tv but it shows the same nonsense as everywhere else so hopefully you will find better things to do. There is also a dvd player so bring some films with you if you like.
The dining room has a large oak table for comfortable dining and there is another Morso wood burning stove here.
Through to the large modern kitchen and you should find everything you need for whatever kind of cooking you like. Appliances include washing machine, tumble drier, dish washer, induction cooker and fridge freezer.
Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower, bath, wc and washhand basin.
Going up the oak staircase you notice that the upper floor has a traditional cottage feel with wood lined walls and coombe ceiling with 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds. One of the sofas in the living room is a bed sofa. On the upper floor there is another shower, wc and washhand basin.
There are central heating radiators throughout the house.
There is wifi so bring your laptop if you must and there is a telephone.
Bed linen, towels, electricity and wood for the stoves are included in the price.
Outside to the front of the house is enough room for 4 cars, the garden is grassed with a table and benches.
